For the second year workshop (that we had every year), we had to realize a poster for the open day of the school I attend, Eracom (school of art and communication).

Our consultant gives to every student the instruction to realize a tool on a specific theme, a typography, some graphic elements or pictures. The objective was to put all the tools together in order to use them in the poster. We had to draw lots for one compulsory tool and a choice of two. I really liked this idea because it gave us a base so that we didn’t go off in all directions, and highlight the notion of sharing and exchange. 

For my part, I choose to take photos. Our theme was the school, I walked the corridors looking for things to highlight. I asked myself what was essential and useful on a daily basis : the print. I decided to take juste the interiors, because these are places that we don’t usually pay much attention to. After importing the images into my Mac, I processed them in Photoshop to create textures. Once the processing was finished, I uploaded my files
to our server and selected the tools I was going to work with. Since I wanted to experiment with filters and test effects, I kept working on my poster in Photoshop.
