For this project, the goal was to realise a tri-fold leaflet. I had to sort the information, establish a hierarchy, correct the microtypography and lay them out.
The content was form a real event, who take place in Lausanne (Switzerland), the « Design Days ». That’s a festival where the designers present theirs works. There is also workshops and talks.
The first step was to familiarize with the content in order to sort out the informations and correct any errors. Then, we had to define the numbers of folds, the size and the folding. When these steps were finished, I lay out my content in InDeisgn and try to find a graphic direction for my leaflet.
My idea was to play with the textures of the pictures in Photoshop. I wanted something rough and catches the eye. I chose a yellow background because, that was the main color on the web site. For the front, I have keep a rigid structure for my text in order to contrast with the verso which is intended to be much less rigid.
